The Tale of Two Cities that had God's Wrath

The Bible tells us if we are under God's Blessing or Curse or Correction. 

            You and I are to read the Bible reflecting and observing for our own life through it. If many people within a nation choose to obey and glorify the Lord God Almighty WITHIN their government, then that nation belongs to the Lord. Importantly, If a person chooses to obey and glorify the Most High God of the Bible in their own life, God's Blessings fall on them. The converse is true, too. If a nation or an individual chooses to reject the Lord God's Word and Authority, either are under God's curse or wrath.   

God's Barometer is Deuteronomy 28 and the 10 Commandments

Are we Blessed? 

            Blessed Means enjoying the Favor, Presence, Protection and Provision of the Lord God Almighty. 

God's tells us if we are blessed in Deuteronomy 28:1-14

                “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God: Deuteronomy 28:1-14

                Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me.  But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you.  My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.  And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.” John 10:25-30 

            Favor Means you are at Peace with God. At-One-Ment. 

            Are you, personally experiencing God's LGentleness and Self-control?  Do you Not live for your own pleasures, passions and desires but INSTEAD live in the Power of the Holy Spirit? Galatians  5:22-26  

            (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth) Ephesians 5:9 

            There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1 

             ~The Righteous Life     ~My Room     ~a Friendship with God         The Holy Spirit in the Believer   

                   ~Just Forgiven        ~The 10 Commandments ~Heaven  

Are we being Corrected? 

          Being Corrected Means having pain, sorrow and discomfort of any kind while still experiencing God's Peace and Joyful Hope in our circumstances.  

        The Lord God corrects His people to bring them into a closer, intimate and healthy relationship with Himself. When a person agrees with and accepts God's correction, then God cleans him or her from the inside out and they become blessed.   

My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, Nor detest His correction; For whom the LORD loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights. Proverbs 3:11-12

“My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; For whom the Lord loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.” If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. Hebrews 12:5-8

Do not correct a scoffer, lest he hate you; Rebuke a wise man, and he will love you. Proverbs 9:8 

Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, But he who hates correction is stupid. Proverbs 12:1 

A scoffer does not love one who corrects him, Nor will he go to the wise. Proverbs 15:12

Are we Cursed? 

          Cursed Means NOT having the Lord God Almighty's Favor, Presence, Protection or Provision. We are without the sweet Peace of God, God's abounding Joy and God's Healing Love. Cursed can also mean being under God's wrath. This condition is REVERSIBLE.  

            God's tells us if we are cursed in Deuteronomy 28:15-68. 

“But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you: Deuteronomy 28:15-68

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.  Romans 1:18-2:11

Jesus told them, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. ... And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’  Matthew 7:21-23

        God is specific in His

God is a just judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day. Psalm 7:11

 ~Come to Me         ~Everlasting Love          ~Cast your Cares          ~Reasons not to Believe 

    ~World Violence        ~The Big Picture       ~Temptation       -Hell      ~False Teachings 

The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? Jeremiah 17:9 

I want a clean heart! 

The desire of the righteous is only good, But the expectation of the wicked is wrath. For the wicked are reserved for the day of doom; They shall be brought out on the day of wrath. We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. Proverbs 11:23, Job 21:30, 1 John 5:19 

Are we wanting to Repent?       Escape God’s wrath!   

Blessed Communities By The LORD God 

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6 ~~ God is love. 1 John 4:16  ~~  Sanctify them by Your truth. Your Word is truth. John 17:17 ~~ The entirety of Your Word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. Psalm 119:160
