Blessed Communities by the LORD God 

Blessed means having favor with God; To have the Lord God’s Presence, protection and provision.  

The Bible teaches that If a nation is to be blessed, It must have the people and the government which are set apart for God’s purpose and glory: Anointed, sanctified, and washed by His Atonement.   

Blessed Nations - Israel and Other Nations; God's Special People

By God, Are we Blessed,  Being Corrected,  Cursed or  Wanting to Repent?   

Did the USA ever belong to the Lord God? 

A Blessed Nations - 

A Blessed Nation is a nation set apart for God, to be exclusively His, chosen by God to follow and obey the Lord God Almighty’s decrees, for His good purpose and glory. 

            Israel was set apart for God’s glory and purpose in the Old Testament, and it still is today. Today the entire nation is not made up of fervent “Lord God of the Bible” followers. However, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has still called the nation of Israel the “apple of his eye”.

“A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He. … When the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations, When He separated the sons of Adam, He set the boundaries of the peoples According to the number of the children of Israel. For the Lord’s portion is His people; Jacob is the place of His inheritance. He found him in a desert land And in the wasteland, a howling wilderness; He encircled him, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye.”  Deuteronomy 32:4, 8-10 

For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me.” Zechariah 2:8-9, Psalm 106:5; Isaiah 49:7

Thus says the Lord, The Redeemer of Israel, their Holy One, … Because of the Lord who is faithful,
The Holy One of Israel; And He has chosen You.” Isaiah 49:7

        Other Nations are blessed of the Lord God, too.  

        Just as the Israelites were and are set apart for God. This same Covenant Relationship is transferred to Christ followers because God has selected them to lead a life pleasing and glorifying to Him. These people are to rejoice in God’s favor in response to the Atonement the Lord God Almighty has provided for them, just as it is for Israel.

A Christ follower is a person who follows the Messiah: Someone who adheres to the teaching out of love and obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ.                John 1:1-14; John 1:29; John 15:16; Ephesians 1:3-14; Romans 8:15

Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:12-13

having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the Word of God which lives and abides forever, 1 Peter 1:23

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

Jesus said, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit,” John 15:16

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who … chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. Ephesians 1:3-14

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. 1 John 3:1

To declare and make holy by a relationship with the Lord God Almighty, to sanctify. To

Leviticus 11:44 I am the LORD your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy. Leviticus 11:45 I am the LORD who brought you up out of Egypt to be your God; therefore be holy, because I am holy.

Leviticus 19:2 “ ‘You shall be holy, for I the LORD your God am holy.”

Leviticus 20:7 “‘Consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am the LORD your God.

Leviticus 21:8 Therefore you shall consecrate him, for he offers the bread of your God. He shall be holy to you, for I the LORD, who sanctify you, am holy.

Leviticus 22:9, 32  “‘ I am the LORD, who makes them holy.”

Leviticus 22:16 or allow them to bear the guilt of trespass when they eat their holy offerings; for I the LORD sanctify them.’”

Isaiah 48:17 This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.

1 Peter 1:16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”

God's Special People

                God has chosen people for His own, New Creatures in Christ Jesus. These people are indwelled by the Holy Spirit and thus are partakers of salvation in the kingdom of God.   1 Peter 2:9 

God's Word, the Bible, says:  

When the Lord your God brings you into the land which you go to possess, and has cast out many nations before you...  For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth. The Lord did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; but because the Lord loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

“Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; and He repays those who hate Him to their face, to destroy them. He will not be slack with him who hates Him; He will repay him to his face. Therefore you shall keep the commandment, the statutes, and the judgments which I command you today, to observe them.  Deuteronomy 7:1, 6-11     

By the Christ, Jesus, Y’shua the Messiah of Israel, the men, women and children who chose to be changed by the Christ and follow Him, God says: But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. 1 Peter 2:9-10  

People who follow and obey Jesus by His Word and Holy Spirit "were grafted in among” the Jews. Romans 11:13-36

“I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” Leviticus 26:12; Jeremiah 32:38; Ezekiel 37:27

God declares a Covenant people, His living saints - 1 Peter 2:9; Exodus 19:5-6; Acts 9:13; Acts 9:32; Acts 9:41; Acts 26:10; Romans 1:7; Romans 8:27; Romans 12:13; Romans 16:15; 1 Corinthians 6:1; 1 Corinthians 6:2; Philippians 4:21; Colossians 1:12; Hebrews 6:10; Jude 1:3; Revelation 5:8   +  Daniel 7:18; Daniel 7:22; John 17:14; John 17:16

“Come out from among them And be separate", says the Lord. "Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters”, Says the Lord Almighty.2 Corinthians 6:11-18

Are we wanting to Repent?       Escape God’s wrath!
